Last week I sent an email to my Crazy 4 Cards Club members and now I am sharing it here...after six years I am discontinuing the Crazy 4 Cards Club. This does not mean I am dropping Stampin Up - no way!! it just means that this part of my demonstratorship has been discontinued for now. The great thing about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is I can do it...My Way (cue Frank Sinatra here)!!!
Aislinn and McKenna are both active young ladies and I have finally made a decision and even started the process to begin graduate school in the fall (insert Gulp here...). My wonderful husband Joe is so supportive, his first question when I told him about this decision was "You aren't dropping Stampin Up are you?". He knows how much I love being a demonstrator and doing my...
SCRAPPIN AND STAMPIN
GETAWAY WEEKENDS!
So for now I am going to continue to run the
SCRAPPIN AND STAMPIN
GETAWAY WEEKENDS!
in Wells, Maine in November, January and April, with occasional classes, stamp camps and open scrap and stamp nights until life changes again. One thing I have learned over the years is that change is going to happen, how we deal with it is another issue...
Be on the look out for the Holiday Greetings Galore class, coming late October, and Fall Open Scrap and Stamp nights, coming soon!

Hi all!
My blog has taken a back burner to life - lots of changes have happened since the beginning of March, some wonderful and some not so much at first. No matter how many times someone can say to you "This too shall pass" or "Everything happens for a reason" when I am in the middle of it, it really doesn't help. The good news is that it did pass and I can see some of the reasons now and I'm even ready to post a sample from last night's Crazy 4 Cards class!
This was a simple card that packed a punch (two actually- Large Oval and Decorative Label!)....The Designer Series Paper is Summer Smooches, stamp set is Teeny Tiny Wishes (love that!), ink Island Indigo and Island Indigo 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon.
The strips of DSP were cut 1 1/2 by 3 3/4", and what was great about using the Teeny Tiny Wishes set is that instead of retirement, this card could be used for just about anything!!!
The ladies got to use the *NEW* style ink pads and we all agree that while it takes some getting used to, we <3 Love Them <3!!!
Join us next month, on July 11th for the next Crazy 4 Cards Class!!! See my website for details!

I have had a lot of fun making t-shirts these past few months, most recently for fundraisers. Yep, using My Digital Studio!
Here is a sample of my most recent one!
See the pink ribbon? This Saturday there is a fundraiser at the Beachcomber in Quincy, MA for TEAM HARDCORE, a team of runners and walkers in honor of my cousin, Kristen.
Last December, Kristen (in the middle) was diagnosed with breast cancer. 33? Really?? What is worse is that Kristen became more of a sister to me than a cousin when she was 12. Why? Her mom had died from this same disease, and she came to live with my family. Nope, can't write this without crying....thankfully chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation are in the rear view mirror for now (there will be more surgeries to come). So, prior to the race on October 30th, her amazing friends have organized this fundraiser with raffles and silent auctions - and now I have helped with tshirts for those selling tickets!
PS - anyone who makes a donation to my page will receive a hand stamped thank you card (of course!)!!!

An Introduction to Stampin Up Scrapbooking
This is a question I get asked often, but both new scrapbookers and those who have been scrapbooking but are new to Stampin' Up! FEAR NO MORE! I am going to offer you a few basics to help you start your journey through preserving your family memories.
While I have been scrapbooking periodically over the last 7 years as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I have gotten more serious over the last 3 years since the first time I was a vendor at a scrapbooking crop. There are a few tools that I feel are truly essential to scrappers.
1. QUALITY CARDSTOCK AND PAPER
The great thing that Stampin Up offers is quality cardstock and coordinating Designer Series Papers that are MEANT to go together. One package of 12 x 12 of any of the color families provides enough sheets to create 10-15 layouts EASILY. Add that ONE package of Designer Series Paper, you then can add depth and at LEAST 5-10 additional pages to your album.
2. PAPER TRIMMER The Fiskars Personal Paper Trimmer opens up to 12 x 15" long with clear markings to crop your photos, make great mattes for them, too!
3. ALPHABET STAMP SET Make quick and TOTALLY customized titles, and never ever run out of a letter! Stampin' Up! offers over 20 alphabet stamp sets, some very large, others very small. Simple to ornate, something for all styles and budgets!
4. INK PADS - To get started 3 or 4 ink pads that coordinate with the 12 x 12 cardstock and Designer Series Paper.
5. ADHESIVE - Lignen free and Archival quality adhesive is really a must, you don't want to put this much work and love into a project that is going to fall apart or ruin your photos. My personal favorite is SNAIL, it is an acronym for Simple, Neat, Affordable InLine adhesive. Runner up is the Tombow MultiPurpose Adhesive!
I hope you found this information helpful! To start your Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Journey, call me to book your in home workshop and receive some or all of these items for FREE!!!
Or, give yourself the gift of TIME to do it all at the January Scrappin and Stampin Getaway!
You can also order ALL of these products from my website, call 207-590-8631 anytime for more information!!
Happy Scrappin!
