Doesn't 70 look good? It does on this card....and on this beautiful lady, too!
My aunts, cousins, and in-laws got together for a surprise Ladies Night for my Auntie Maureen Saturday night - she was so surprised, especially when I walked in after a 3 1/2 hour drive! I got the prize for the one who came from the farthest. Actually I the roads were clear and traffic light, I drank a cup of coffee and listed to a new Sandra Brown book on CD ( new to me anyway!) the whole way down and shut off the world for a while!
The card is a take-off from my Crazy 4 Cards class last week, only this time I layered the Framed Tulips on to Baja Breeze cardstock, and double matted the focal point, which was the Beveled Windowpane. Inside is the 70, cut from Rose Red cardstock.
The stamp is from You're A Gem stamp set, in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I adhered the bow, tied with Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon with a glue dot, and hung the Trinket Crown from the bow!
TIP: When you are having to adhere a small image, like the 70 on this card, it is a breeze with the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets!
