Hi everyone!
So, it's been about 4 months since I have updated ANYTHING on this blog, and I am so happy to be back!
So, what's happened? Aislinn has started 5th grade, and McKenna has started 1st. Both are off to a great start to the new school year :) We had an amazing summer and I even got to scrap some of it! That layout will be here later this week...first, here is a card I received in the mail the other day!
Stamps: Ribbon of Hope, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Sahara Sand, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Moves & Shapers Curly Label, Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Looks like something I'd make? Well, that's because I did! And this leads me to a request...
I made a stack of these thank you notes for my cousin, Kristen, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last December. Kristen is more than a cousin, she is the closest thing to a sister I have, and that's partially because when she was 12, her mother died from Breast Cancer and she came to live with my family. Almost 10 months later, she has had chemotherapy, surgery, and is in the midst of radiation. On October 30th, I will be walking with family and friends as part of TEAM HARDCORE (her nickname amongst her college friends, and yes she IS hardcore!). If you would like to receive one of these cards in the mail from me, please consider a donation ($5 means A LOT!) to my page by clicking HERE.
Look for another post tomorrow, with information about the Crazy 4 Cards classes and it's NEW LOCATION!
Happy Saturday!
~Tara
